size guide
Measuring is a crucial step when buying a dog collar. Why?
Our collars are fitted based on the size of your dog's neck, not their weight or body size. Therefore, we strongly suggest measuring your dog to find the perfect fit.
How to measure
Gently wrap a tape measure around the largest part of their neck (generally at the base of the neck near the shoulders). We recommend adding an inch of space (which can be accomplished by adding a finger between the tape measure and your pup) for maximum comfort and safety.
Don’t have a tape measure? No problem! Use a shoestring instead, then measure the string with a ruler (which can also be downloaded as an app on your smartphone).
Shopping for a growing pup or dog with a thicker coat?
If you are shopping for a growing puppy or a dog with a thicker coat, we recommend adding three inches of space when measuring.
In between sizes?
If your pup measures in between sizes, we recommend going with the smaller option.
